We do NOT recommend using other 1x PBS preparations. Various recipes for PBS exist in the literature and from commercial providers, but may provide significantly different results during nuclei extraction and tagmentation. The 10X PBS provided in the CUTANA ATAC-Seq Kit has been rigorously tested in the CUTANA ATAC-seq workflow, demonstrating optimal performance. Use of sub-optimal PBS could result in lower quality of nuclei after extraction (Figure 1). Contact Tech Support if you require extra 10X PBS.
