No, CUT&RUN for transcription factors and other chromatin proteins can be completed using the most recent standard [manual](https://www.epicypher.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/cut-and-run-kit-manual.pdf). In particular, you can use the recommended 1.8X CUTANATM DNA Purification Beads ratio ([EpiCypher 21-1407](https://www.epicypher.com/product/cutana-dna-purification-beads/)) for all targets. If you routinely profile transcription factors in CUT&RUN, you may consider using our validated CTCF antibody ([EpiCypher 13-2014](https://www.epicypher.com/products/antibodies/cutana-cut-run-compatible-antibodies/ctcf-cutana-cut-and-run-antibody)) as a positive control, in addition to the H3K4me3 and H3K27me3 positive controls provided with the CUTANA CUT&RUN Kit. **If you are unsure what results to expect for your target,** [**reach out to EpiCypher Tech Support**](https://www.epicypher.com/contact-us/request-tech-support/) **for guidance.**
