# How many cells do I need for CUT&Tag?

We recommend starting with 100,000 cells per reaction plus 10% excess cells to account for sample loss during nuclei extraction.

Following nuclei extraction, confirm nuclei quality (minimal lysis, clean borders) and count nuclei. Use ~100,000 nuclei per reaction.
